This is a great app to use if you are tired of the same old thing! ToonDoo is a creative and fun way to create comic strips. In this app you can create your own Toon and story or you can create one using templates and tools that this app provides you. ToonDoo is great for educators to teach lessons to keep your students engaged and will allow them to produce excitement for chosen topics! They can create their own version of a well known story and physically input major lessons learned through this app in the form of storytelling. This app is essential for project based learning and provides the students with an opportunity to reiterate what is taught in a creative way. Below is a screenshot of a brief example that I produced. I did not create my own Toon but rather I used the tools given to me. I recommend this app for teaching instruction.
This was a fantastic app as well! ToonDoo was brilliant! You could create any comic strip or storyboard you wanted and could choose from a never ending possibility of features to make your story creative. As mentioned above, this app is a really good one to use where students can take what you taught and create stories using that information. For example, if students in a catholic school setting are taught about many important individuals from the bible, students can use this app to create an educationally appropriate storyboard highlighting the major importances and lessons taught from those important people. All in all, its a great way for students to attain information. Students will remember stories more so than from orally being taught in my opinion.
